Fri May 17, 2013

Sun May 19, 2013
Can the human body stay alive and functioning well for very long periods of time in 38% gravity? What about gestation in 38% gravity? So, what is known about Martian space-medicine--nothing, maybe? How about eyesight problems? (See the Wikipedia article (link) Visual impairment due to intracranial p …
No. 1 swimming pool problem? It's number two!
Thu May 16, 2013
Sounds like bidets at swimming pools would be a good idea--and some education. Gross! I looked up (link) Bidet at Wikipedia then looked at 2 U.S. companies mentioned. One of them, (link) USABIDET, had this comment on their home page: "Deep down, Americans have always known that wiping their rears wi …

Here's a comcept you need, Steve. Epistemology: the philosophic science that studies the nature, scope, and means of human knowledge. The field is justified because of two obvious facts: humans are not omniscient and are fallible.
'Worst years of my life': For mother of another missing Cleveland woman, the wait goes on
Fri May 10, 2013
Yes, this disappearance has Castro written all over it. I expect the investigators see it too and will work as hard as they can. Maybe something will turn up in the stuff that the FBI took from the house. The girls evidently had not seen her and it seems unlikely that Ashley could have been at the h …
Last of Cleveland kidnap victims out of hospital, said to be in good spirits
Fri May 10, 2013
3-4 days in a hospital for a mental health issue? Maybe, but I've never heard of doing that. I recall that, when released from the house, she had some kind of physical complaint and medical help was called right then.
Ariel Castro would 'freak me out,' says neighbor
Thu May 9, 2013
The police need evidence of criminal behavior. Undoubtedly, the girls didn't implicate the brothers in any way. So, unless some new evidence comes up, there will be no charges. However, it's early in the investigation; maybe something will still come up about the brothers or about Ashley Summers. Fr …
